Privacy notice.
This notice explains how FORGED PERSPECTIVE intends to handle personal information when you visit this website or submit a project enquiry. It is written for a South African audience and is intended to support compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
1. Who is responsible?
FORGED PERSPECTIVE is the business name under which this architectural visualisation studio operates and is the contact identity for privacy matters relating to this website. FORGED PERSPECTIVE is not represented on this website as a registered company or separate juristic person. For privacy questions and requests, contact inquiries@forgedperspective.co.za. This website does not publish a street or operating address.
2. Information we may collect
If you submit the project enquiry form, the information requested may include your name, email address, company or practice, project location, selected service, target timeline and the project description you choose to provide. Please do not submit identity documents, payment-card details, passwords or confidential technical files through the initial enquiry form.
Our hosting provider may also process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps and server logs for website delivery, security and troubleshooting.
3. Why we use it
We use enquiry information to respond to your request, understand the project, prepare or discuss a quotation, communicate about potential or agreed services, maintain business records and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use the enquiry form to subscribe you to newsletters or unrelated marketing.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. The website is hosted by Netlify. When you submit the project enquiry form, the information you provide is transmitted to and processed through Netlify Forms so that the enquiry can be received and managed. Business email is provided through Google Workspace, which may process correspondence sent to or from our business email accounts. We may also use service providers needed to deliver an agreed project, but we will limit the information shared to what is reasonably necessary.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or with your instruction. We will limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
5. Cross-border processing
Netlify and Google Workspace may process or store information in data centres outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred outside South Africa, the transfer must be handled in accordance with the conditions for cross-border transfers in POPIA, including applicable safeguards or other lawful grounds.
6. Security and confidentiality
We intend to use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including access controls, strong authentication, secure connections and appropriate backup and incident procedures. No website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send highly sensitive or confidential drawings through the first-contact form. A suitable file-transfer method and confidentiality terms should be agreed before exchanging sensitive project material.
7. Retention
We retain enquiries for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage a potential or active business relationship, maintain appropriate business records and deal with disputes or legal obligations. When information is no longer required for a lawful purpose, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it, subject to any applicable record-keeping duties.
8. Your rights
Subject to the conditions and limitations in POPIA and other applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask for correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. Cookies and tracking
The website build currently contains no advertising pixels, analytics trackers, social-media tracking scripts or third-party video embeds. It does not intentionally set optional analytics or marketing cookies. The hosting provider may use technical logs or strictly necessary technologies to deliver and protect its service. See the Cookie Notice for more detail. If optional tracking is added later, this notice and the site's consent controls must be updated before it is activated.
10. Children
This website is intended for adults and business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly seek to collect children's personal information.
11. Changes to this notice
